Hey, have you ever wonder when placing an order what the people looked like on the other end of the phone, well I have, so therefore we are putting a face with the voice on the other end of the phone that is taking your order for your ship history, photo, cap, jacket, shirt, etc.
I started Seaweed's about 26 years ago. I retired from the Navy in 1976 after spending 20 years, serving my country. I enjoyed my time in the service, never regreting a day of it. After retiring I return home to my hometown of Paden City, WV like most of my buddies did returning home to their home towns. I finally bought a house in a town down the road of about 4 miles in Sistersville, WV, and that has been where I have been ever since. My wife Frances that helps me with the Business, before working the business full time, was a social worker, working with Alcohol and Drug rehap, then later she worked with all the low-income people to help them with education and helping to give them a better life. Then she settle into helping me with the business which she loves to do very much. She does all the typing and loves to talk with each of you Veterans and their families the same as I do. We have traveled throughout the Country and have been to a lot of the Commissing of the ships and Decommissing of ships. We have went to several reunions and always have had a good time. Between us we have 7 children and 11 grandchildren. Two of our grandchildren is going into the Navy. One in March and the other one in August. We also have 3 dogs and 2 cats and a bird that we love very much. So that is just a little bit about us. We look forward to talking with you real soon!!

Daniel (Dan) Patterson has been working with us for the past 8 years. He will be the one that answers the phone at times, he also make all your caps, jackets, shirts and photos. He loves the business as much as we do and loves talking with all the Veterans and their families as well. His other passion is racing. Beside working with us he and 2 of his buddies own a race track. So he is really busy from April through September working here and running the quarter mile dirt track. The track is called Tyler County Speedway , home of the Hillbilly 100. Race driver come from all over the United States to race at this track each Saturday night. Of course we all go and have a good time at the track. Daniel is looking forward to talking with all of you real soon!! You also can check out Daniel's Race Track at his web site.

Also if you do not wish the history on parchment paper for framing, just let us know and we can also send the history on plain paper. I think you will like the history for framing, it just takes a document frame and you are set to go, you can place on your wall for everyone to see.
